This year marks the 154th Warkworth Show. The show will be held in the grounds of Warkworth Castle on Saturday 22nd August from 10am, and Coquet Vets will be there once again. We hope you'll come along and enjoy the day with us!
The show's main attraction is the judging marquee. Throughout the year, people have been growing vegetables, making pottery, knitting clothes, perfecting their baking skills, and much more to enter one of the many classes.
The show will also feature a magician, face painting, rock climbing, music, dancing, and a food and drink court. This year's food and drink vendors include:
Dou-H Gluten Free Pizzas
Scott's Dinky Donuts
Alnwick Brewery
The Foxes Den
Waffling On
Lilac Lemons
Havkoffe Coffee
Rothbury Food Truck
Street Kitchen
Morwick Dairy - serving ice cream in a range of delicious flavours
Coquet Vets will be running the Dog Show and Agility Course. We'll also be hosting the ever-popular Terrier Racing. Despite the name, all breeds are welcome to enter! This event takes place at the moat and is always great fun. Let's just say it can be a little unpredictable at times!
This year's dog show classes are:
Best Young Dog Under 1 Year
Best Facial Expression
Golden Oldie Over 7 Years
Best Talent/Trick
Best Condition 1-6 Years Old
Best Rescue Dog
The Dog the Judges Would Most Like to Take Home
All entries can be made on the day of the show.
Pre-sale tickets have been available since 20th July and can be purchased from Coquet Vets. For more information and updates, follow Warkworth Show on Facebook.
We look forward to seeing you there!
