Home Changes for Animals with Arthritis

This month, we are focusing on geriatric pets. One of the most common conditions we see in older pets is arthritis. Arthritis means inflammation of the joint. The sooner we diagnose arthritis in our pets, and then treat and manage the disease, hopefully, the happier their life will be.

There are some simple changes/adaptations that we can implement to help manage arthritis. In addition, making simple changes in their everyday lives and in your home can also help your older pets to live a more comfortable life.

We are holding a Geriatric Evening Talk on Thursday 19th June, including these simple home changes that can help your older pets, medication, physiotherapy options, and lots more. If you would like to attend, please call in or call us on 01665 252 250. The evening is £5 and will be hosted by one of our Vets and Veterinary Nurses.

If this article has raised any concerns, or you require further advice for your arthritic pet, please call us at Coquet Vets on 01665 252 250.
